How to upload your fonts to Creative Cloud

Here’s how you can upload and access your own fonts across Adobe apps and other desktop applications (such as Microsoft Office) and use them in all your projects.

But before uploading, you’ll need to make sure the file size does not exceed 512 MB, the font is either a TrueType (.ttf) font or an OpenType (.otf) font and you have the rights and licenses to use these fonts.

Here are the quick and simple steps to uploading fonts to Photoshop:

1. Click it: Open the Creative Cloud Desktop app.
   

2. Select it: Select the fonts icon “f” in the upper right.
   

3. Select it: Select “Uploaded fonts” in the left sidebar.
   

4. Drag it: Drag the fonts from your desktop to added them. Select “Add more” to add more fonts.

5. Confirm it: Confirm you have rights and licenses to use the files and select “Add”.

6. Select Add

7. Select Done

Tip: If you upload fonts to Creative Cloud and later cancel your subscription, the locally installed font files remain available on your desktop devices. However, you will no longer be able to manage your uploaded fonts from the Creative Cloud desktop app.
