Convert photos to cartoon drawings

Here’s a simple step by step to convert your photos to cartoons. Give it a try today!!

1. Convert to a Smart Object: Photo should be in RGB Color and 8 Bits/Channel

2. Apply Poster Edges effect: Go to Filter > Filter Gallery > Artistic: Poster Edges. Set Edge Thickness, Edge Intensity or add low Posterization.

3. Save your photo: Into PNGs, TIFFs, etc.

Take the next step with caricature:

1. Go to Filter: Go to Filter > Liquify

2. Choose the Bloat tool in the toolbar on the left

3. Set the Brush Tool Options and make the brush 2-3 times the size of the eye

4. Center the brush over the pupil and click a few times until you get the desired look
