Insight from Artixty
Creating abstract, futuristic art is no longer a dream — the future is here.
You only need two things to get started…
The Abstract Fusion Bundle of Photoshop Add-Ons
A tutorial on how to transform your photos into abstract, futuristic art
Here are the steps you can take:
Import your photo: Open Photoshop and import a high-resolution photo. The photo can be a cityscape, a portrait, or any image that will serve as the base. If starting with a blank canvas, choose a large size to allow for detailed work. Don’t have a subscription to Photoshop? Try it for free by clicking here.
Apply filters for a base effect: To create a futuristic base, use the Filter Gallery to apply filters such as Glowing Edges or Neon Glow. This will give your image a sharp, high-contrast look. Adjust the settings to achieve the desired intensity.
Add geometric shapes: Create new layers and use the shape tools to add geometric elements like circles, triangles, and hexagons. These shapes should be bold and can overlap with your image to create a sense of depth and complexity. Use the Pen Tool for custom shapes and angles.
Use gradients and blending modes: Add color to your shapes using gradients. Choose vibrant, contrasting colors to emphasize the futuristic theme. Set the blending modes of these layers to options like Overlay, Screen, or Hard Light to blend them with the underlying image.
Incorporate digital textures and effects: To enhance the abstract and futuristic feel, add digital textures such as glitch effects, circuit patterns, or digital noise. These can be found in texture packs or created using Photoshop brushes.
Enhance with lighting effects: Add lighting effects to create a more dynamic composition. Use the Gradient Tool to create light beams, or apply the Lighting Effects filter to simulate spotlights and reflections.
Make final adjustments: Finish your artwork by fine-tuning the color balance, contrast, and saturation. You can also add a Levels or Curves adjustment layer to perfect the lighting and color tones.
That’s all for this week!

How 433 Investors Unlocked 400X Return Potential
Institutional investors back startups to unlock outsized returns. Regular investors have to wait. But not anymore. Thanks to regulatory updates, some companies are doing things differently.
Take Revolut. In 2016, 433 regular people invested an average of $2,730. Today? They got a 400X buyout offer from the company, as Revolut’s valuation increased 89,900% in the same timeframe.
Founded by a former Zillow exec, Pacaso’s co-ownership tech reshapes the $1.3T vacation home market. They’ve earned $110M+ in gross profit to date, including 41% YoY growth in 2024 alone. They even reserved the Nasdaq ticker PCSO.
The same institutional investors behind Uber, Venmo, and eBay backed Pacaso. And you can join them. But not for long. Pacaso’s investment opportunity ends September 18.
Paid advertisement for Pacaso’s Regulation A offering. Read the offering circular at invest.pacaso.com. Reserving a ticker symbol is not a guarantee that the company will go public. Listing on the NASDAQ is subject to approvals.
